Avo Choco Mousse

Serves 2


  • 1 large Hass avocado
  • 2-3 teaspoon grade B maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoon unsweetened organic cocoa powder or 1 tablespoon cacao powder
  • ¼ cup unsweetened organic almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon slivered almonds
  • ¼ cup raspberries for garnish
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt


Place the avocados, maple syrup, cocoa powder, almond milk, vanilla and sea salt in a food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping the sides of the bowl as needed. Spoon into glasses and refrigerate for at least 3 hours (can be prepared 1 day in advance). Garnish with fresh raspberries and slivered almond.
