Earth day green smoothie

Serving: Serves 1

Ingredients

  • ½ an medium avocado
  • 1/3 cup spinach or kale
  • Fresh mint 1 small sprig
  • 2 tbsp pistachio nuts ( unsalted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3-5 drops liquid stevia or 1 tbsp monk fruit or other natural sweetener of your choice
  • ¼ cup coconut milk
  • ½ cup crushed ice
  • 1 scoop collagen protein powder or protein powder of your choice
  • Optionally you can add 1 tsp. of hemp seeds or chia seeds as well for some extra fiber, protein and omega 3’s.

Directions

  • Wash all your fresh ingredients before using. Place all ingredients in a high speed blender of your choices until smooth creamy consistency.
  • Serves in a glass topped with some fresh mint and pistachios.
  • Enjoy!
