Fire Up Your Taste Buds with an Amazing Gluten Free Recipe

This independence day let’s celebrate July 4th with a firework of taste in your mouth by making my Indian curried shrimp with Cool cucumber mint raita. I have used some Asian Indian spices like coriander, cumin, curry powder and bay leaf. All these spices have great health benefits.

Cumin seeds have traditionally been noted to be of benefit to the digestive system. Research has shown that cumin may stimulate the secretion of pancreatic enzymes, compounds necessary for proper digestion and nutrient assimilation. Cumin seeds may also have anti-carcinogenic properties.

In parts of India, it has traditionally been used for its anti-inflammatory properties. Coriander (also called cilantro) contains an antibacterial compound that may prove to be a safe, natural means of fighting Salmonella, a frequent and sometimes deadly cause of foodborne illness, suggests a study published in the June 2004 issue of the Journal of Agriculture and Food Chemistry.

To cool the fireworks in your mouth I have added a cool cucumber mint raita a yogurt based salad which is very refreshing.
